FOUNDATION BORED PILES

Auger machines mounted on crane , with extended Kelly Bar capable of drilling up to 60 metres are used to form pile shafts in the ground . With our hydraulic type piling rig , we are capable of drilling into hard strata . This pile shaft is then filled with reinforced concrete to form foundation piles .

All type of soil conditions , from soft clay to rock can be bored through , thus ensuring that the piles are founded at very solid base .

CONTIGUOUS BORED PILES

Bored piles installed in a raw acting as a wall to retain earth movement are called Contiguous Bored Pile Wall .

ADVANTAGES

Bored pile can be constructed up to 60 metres deep . Its carrying capacity can be efficiently design to cater for whatever possible column loadings .

A small number of high capacity bored piles requires a minimal number of pile caps with consequent cost savings .

With the use of a chisel , obstacles such as old foundation and hard layers can be penetrated .

Noise and vibartion levels are minimized as compared to other piling methods .

Construction of Contiguous Bored Pile Wall is more feasible in pile areas where its top soil layers is liable to collapse .
